Solutions Services is designed to:

  • Help families solve problems in order to help them gain and maintain employment.
  • Help parents get alcohol or drug treatment needed for a speedy recovery to avoid out of home placement of their children.
  • Help reach the primary goals of the program of better daily living and self-sufficiency.

    Solutions Services will help you to:

  • Get alcohol and drug treatment.
  • Get mental health treatment.
  • Get a plan of safety for you and your children.
  • Get an action plan created to eliminate barriers.

    You will be required to:

  • Attend all scheduled meetings.
  • Get mental health treatment.
  • Work toward your goals.
  • Not participate in verbal, sexual or physical abuse.
  • Identify triggers and relapse plans.
  • Address mental health issues.
     
    **You must agree to confidentiality standards and agree to work with all parties involved including SRS, Courts, RADAC, Treatment Facilities, or any other agencies.

    Facts about Solution Services:

    Solutions serves families that are receiving Temporary Assistance to Families (TAF) and have been identified as having substance abuse problems.

    There is "no wrong door policy," meaning a self-eferral or any agency can make a referral to Solutions. If recommended for treatment, you must participate to be accepted into Solutions.

    You are expected to follow through with the recommendations made by SRS to keep your cash assistance.

    Meetings with your Solutions Case Manager maybe from one time per week to several depending on your family's need and request.

    Your meetings may take place in your home, the community or in the office.
