The Osborne County Juvenile Justice Authority Committee is a coalition of community members focusing on reducing substance abuse and other youth high risk behaviors. The Committee is currently in the process of re-organizing and planning to meet the needs of the community. The Natoma Families Against Destructive Decisions, FADD, parent organization provides tutoring services, educational opportunities and alternative activities for Natoma youth in grades K-12.
The Osborne County JJA Committee and the Natoma FADD organization utilize liquor tax funds and Juvenile Justice Authority funding for their programs. For more information or to find out how you can participate in these efforts contact Janae Talbott at Smoky Hill Foundation by calling 785-625-5521 or 1-800-757-2180.
