The Primary Outpatient Program is an intensive approach that provides outpatient treatment in a group setting 2 evenings per week for approximately 9 weeks. The program is held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. This structured program combines educational sessions on various aspects of the disease of addiction, recovery, group therapy, and is open-ended. Clients may enter at any point and work through the program to the point of his or her entrance.

Primary Outpatient Treatment is an appropriate choice of treatment for chemically dependent individuals whose progression in the disease process has not reached the point of requiring inpatient treatment. Therefore, clients can maintain other aspects of their lives such as family and employment while getting the help that they need.
