The Women's Group is an intensive outpatient treatment program designed to meet the specific needs of the chemically dependant female. The program is structured to provide education on various aspects of the disease of addiction and the recovery process. This program is open-ended and clients may enter at any point of the treatment process.
A Solutions Case Worker co-facilitates these sessions and provides life skills education, parenting skills, and address individual needs of the client, such as employment, childcare and accessing community resources. The Women's group is delivered in a group setting, which meets twice weekly for approximately 4 to 6 months depending on the individual needs of the client. The program is held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
